Please join us for a press conference and live webcast to release "The Nation's Report Card: Science 2009, Trial Urban District Assessment (TUDA), Grades 4 and 8".

For the first time, the nation has a report card to compare kids across state lines, and to compare urban districts in science. Given how critical science education is in todays economy, how does Boston stack up against similar cities, and the nation as a whole? Will Bostons 4th and 8th graders be able to compete with peers from other cities? From non-urban areas? Where are the gaps? What do those gaps say about ensuring achievement for all young people?

COSMIC at UMass Boston invites you to join us as we co-host the release of national data that sheds light on these questions. The live event will be held at the UMB campus center on February 24th, 10 -11 AM, or follow the links below to join via live webcast.
